Intermediate Accountant - 20 Month Contract (Closed)

Our client is sourcing for an intermediate accountant for a 20 month contract.

About the Opportunity

• Month End Close – monthly General Ledger reconciliations, prepare monthly financial package, warranty & logistic reports, etc.
• Treasury functions – prepare/assess daily cash position, prepare & post treasury entries, apply judgement to determine short term investment commitment, investigate any banking transaction issues
• Accounts Payable - verify, allocate ,post and reconcile freight payment files, cover for accounts payable clerk during vacation/time off, create purchase requisitions
• Ad hoc reports as requested, post management entries during month end, keep track of all insurance claims & payments

About You

• CPA or designation in process
• 2-5 years experience is similar role
• Advanced excel
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Pay Rate

$35/hour
