Director of Finance (Closed)

About the Opportunity

• Duties will include reviewing and analyzing internal/external financial reports
• Assisting the Director in ensuring finance activities are accurate, timely and in accordance with established legal, regulatory and plan procedures and quality standards
• Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to manage the financial needs of all sites
• Direct responsibility for core finance, pension accounting and reporting, taxation matters and special projects as delegated by the Management Team
• Work closely with other finance team managers as it relates to the overall financial management
• Responsible for Treasury reporting and any other adhoc projects as assigned
• Coordination of the annual year end audit(s), internal control operations, review and preparation of the monthly financial statements and associated analysis for both internal and Board committee meetings.
• Staff supervision responsibilities

About You

• Accounting Designation
• At least 5 years of financial reporting, treasury & tax experience preferably in the Not-for-profit sector
• Experience managing and reviewing staff
• Excellent Communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders

Pay Rate

$65/hour
