Interim Accounting Manager (Closed)

About the Opportunity

• Creation of working papers for multiple notice to reader, review, and audit engagements
• Bookkeeping is also involved.  Lot of joint ventures and entries will have to be done. Entries aren't done by   staff
• Familiarity with T5013s, T3s and T5s, dealing with partnerships and investments would be a benefit
• Management of auditors/audit process. This role is the main contact person for audit requests
• Some management of AR staff, oversight of bank reconciliations, and coding of cheques received from partners
• Creation of internal monthly/quarterly management reports, including narratives as to how the properties are performing
• Involved with the budget process - for all of these above there are templates created that will mostly just be updated, but the successful candidate will need to recognize when they need to add on to the template or analyze something outside what is already created
• Familiarity with Yardi would be a benefit, as would at least intermediate proficiency with Excel

About You

• Accounting Designation
• 5 plus years of full cycle accounting experience
• Audit background is a strong preference 
• Advanced excel and exposure to YARDI
• Excellent Communication skills
• Ability to manage deadlines while maintaining attention to detail

Pay Rate

$45/hour
