Infrastructure Analyst (Azure)

About the Company   

Our client is a is a Canada-wide consumer services business, looking to hire a Network / Infrastructure Analyst (Azure) 

About the Opportunity 

• This position will be a part of a team of four Level 3 server/network specialists 

• 70% of the role will be spent on working with Azure services (creating resources like VLANs, data storage, applications, APIs, SQL servers, Azure networks) and 30% on on-prem server/network (One Fortigate firewall, 100+ Windows VM servers, 200+ Aruba and Cisco switches, Dell/HP routers, backups, etc) 

• This team also works with dev and devops teams on making sure they have the infrastructure they need for applications, APIs, etc 

• There is a switch replacement project starting in August (modernizing more to Aruba switches), so there may be some travel to other locations (including Vancouver, Calgary, etc) 

About You 

• Strong Level 3 experience with Azure services (VMs, VLANs, data storage, applications, APIs, SQL servers, Azure networking) 

• Good Level 3 experience with data centre / on-prem resources like firewalls, switches, routers, Windows/VM servers, backups, etc 

• Good communication and presentation skills  

• Able to commute to midtown Toronto office 2 days per week 

Bonus Items: 

• Understanding of APIs 

• Experience with SDWan 

• Certifications 

Salary Range 

$105,000/year
