Our client is seeking an Infor M3 SWB (Scheduling Workbench) Technical Consultant to join their expanding ERP capability that will support an Infor M3 implementation. In this role you will be a part of a global project that will enhance the work experience for the clients staff both on the shop floor and head office, while streamlining their processes and order flow creating a better overall global experience for their customers!

About the Opportunity

  • Working with the business users to understand business needs, translate those needs into technical requirements that both (onshore and offshore) team members can understand and execute
  • Implement on-prem to Single and Multi-User tenant integrations
  • Manage the technical implementation for M3 SWB along with the project lead consultants and business leads
  • Work with the 3rd party integration firm and bridge the gap between organizations
  • Work with the client and all counterparts globally to develop training materials, document configurations and changes, while providing guidance on data manipulation, output and analysis
  • Cross training peers and systems users on system configuration and processes
  • Utilizing strong problem solving and analytical skills as well as good written and verbal communication skills to discuss requirements, business processes, support issues, status updates, etc. to audiences with varying levels of IT knowledge
  • Participate as a SME or functional expert resource on both large and small projects using both waterfall and agile methodologies
  • Using functional and process aptitude to come up to speed on new solutions and concepts required for Infor and Infor OS development and support
  • Challenging the status quo and focusing on long-term value when designing solutions
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements
  • Adopting best practices in the implementation and execution of support processes, including maintaining system support documentation

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Technology or related field
  • 7+ years hands-on experience configuring and supporting Infor M3 ERP with a focus on SWB (Scheduling Workbench)
  • Formerly an instrumental part of at least one M3 SWB implementation
  • 7+ years hands-on experience designing and delivering technical solutions
  • Superior communication skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong team player with the ability to self regulate and manage priorities and deadlines
  • Possess the ability to educate the business on the right solutioning based on your past implementation experience
  • Ability to push back when required by using your education and experience
  • Experience working with system users to capture requirements and test solutions
  • Experience documenting and maintaining technical/functional specifications
  • This position will be remote so candidates across Canada or out of country will be considered
  • Preference to candidates local to the Toronto market will be a priority
