IICS Informatica Developer - 3-Month Contract (Closed)

About the Opportunity

• You will join a team that is setting up a new informatica environment from scratch
• You will help the continuous building of RESTful API integrations using IICS
• Develop IICS application integration components like processes, service connectors and process objects
• Build service connectors for real time integration with third party applications, including testing and deployment
• Build business services using JSON file to call web services
• Integrate Informatica Cloud with other
• Install add-on connectors and drivers for IICS
• Build data integration processes by constructing mappings, tasks, task flows, schedules, and parameter files
• Write scripts for file watching and file transfer protocols
• Create architectural patterns, best practices and guidelines for enterprise applications
• You will focus mainly on this project through to delivery but you may also be expected to collaborate on other projects lending your experience and knowledge to the overall success of the team and organization
• You will bring knowledge and experience with methodologies for data extraction, transformation and loading data using various transformations like Expression, Router, Filter, Lookup, Update Strategy, Union, and Aggregator
• You will ensure that all code is clean and documented
• You will work with all levels of the organization to ensure that your part of the project is on task and communicated to the team, managers and stakeholders 

About You

•  A degree in Computer Science or related field of study
• 5+ years as an Informatica Developer
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Informatica IICS
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter
• Extensive experience working with various data sources including SQL and Oracle database, flat files like CSV and delimited as well as REST API, XML, and SOAP
• Experience in RDMBS (SQL Server, Oracle), including complex SQL constructs and DDL generation is required
• Excellent overall knowledge and experience with SQL specifically PostgreSQL
• You must be able to demonstrate understanding of relational databases and business data
• You must be able to easily write complex SQL queries against a variety of data sources
• Working knowledge of data modelling (conceptual, logical and physical) as well as database design is required
• Strong knowledge of PowerShell tools with a focus on scripting
• Experience with Business Intelligence/Analysis and Data Warehousing
• Solid understanding of relational and dimensional data models
