Front End Developer/Vuejs (Closed)

About the role:

• Ability to build new code from spec
• Experience in full life cycle project development
• Proven experience using Vue.js to build mobile apps
• Deliver projects and releases working as part of a team
• Review business requirements and develop prototypes
• Working with the front end developers to build the interface with focus on usability features
• Create compelling device specific user interfaces and experiences
• Standardizing the platform and in some cases apps to deliver across multiple brands with minimal duplication of effort
• Create technical documentation such as design documents, guidelines, and standards

About you:

• A degree/diploma in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum 5 years experience as a mobile developer
• Expert level Vue.js development experience
• Multi platform mobile development experience
• Experience building custom web/mobile applications using JavaScript, CSS3 and HTML5
• Experience with Node.js and SQL Server
• Experience with Tomcat, Linux, etc.
• Ability to develop cross platform applications specifically with Apple and Android
• Experienced with web services: REST and JSON Formating
• Experience using mobile framework such as Ionic, PhoneGap or Sencha
• Agile development methodologies experience
• Experience publishing mobile App is an asset
• Familiarity with the following tool: JIRA, SVN, Git, and Jenkins is considered an asset
• Experience working in a Scrum environment
• Superior verbal and written communication skills with both technical and non-technical users
