About the Company

Our Client’s mission is to provide customers with safe, hygienic, and pleasant building environments for their employees, tenants, and guests, as the trusted partner for washroom hygiene, pest control, chemical solutions, and facility supplies. They are looking to hire a FP&A Manager, who will be responsible for providing insightful analysis and recommendations to influence initiatives undertaken to grow and improve the business by leveraging business intelligence tools.

About the Opportunity

  • Support the management team in decision-making processes by performing profitability and analytical deep dives, ultimately arriving at insightful analysis and recommendations to influence initiatives. This involves:
    • Collaborating/ working closely with the business to understand problems/opportunities
    • Problem solving
    • Seeing the "big picture" in a complex business environment, financial modeling
    • Analytical, forecasting, reporting, and project support to management and storytelling
    • Communicating information to business partners
  • Work closely with the finance team to prepare the monthly reporting package that includes key statistics and analysis for the global business
  • Learn our business and work with management to create and report on the appropriate KPIs for measuring performance analyzing trends and understand variances
  • Prepare insightful variance analysis for revenue and operating expenses, including detailed understanding of variances to budget, forecast, and prior year
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting deliverables and predictive analysis, including iterative review with management, headcount planning & validation, and bottom-up budgeting
  • Perform financial modelling for the strategic planning process
  • Responsible for Citron’s business intelligence tool (Looker) to set up various reports working closely with the data science team
  • Participate as a subject matter expert in special projects and ad hoc analysis as required, including involvement in our acquisition related due diligence process

About You

  • University Degree in Finance, Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, or business-related discipline
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in financial planning & analysis, data analysis, or other related fields
  • Advanced working knowledge using business intelligence tools to build reporting and communicate findings (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, PowerPivot, PowerBI)
  • Managed a team, while not required would be considered an asset as this role will be responsible for building out the team over time

Salary Range

$100,000-110,000/year
