Our client is a leading manufacturer and marketer of a plethora of product lines in the CPG industry. They are currently looking for a Financial Reporting and Accounting Manager to manage a multitude of reporting and FP&A activities.

About the Opportunity

• Lead, coach and mentor the team consistent with company policies, guidelines, and standards
• Develop and deliver accurate and timely internal financial reports based on business requirements to support effective management and completion of month-end working papers, adjusting entries and account reconciliations
• Manage all aspects of the general ledger and the integrity of the accounting data
• Perform complex FX transactions, complete gain/loss analysis and provide commentary
• Support the Inventory department in overseeing the month-end close of inventory
• Prepare monthly Balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare and submit all Government Remittances: HST
• Prepare and submit reporting package to HQ within deadline
• Prepare the fixed asset continuity schedule/depreciation schedule
• Support the annual budgeting process, including measurement and analysis
• Support the annual financial statement audit with the HQ accountants
• Research accounting topics in support of complex accounting transactions
• Assist in the transition of JDE for General Accounting for upcoming implementation

About You

• CPA Designation
• Experience within a similar Industry (ex. Manufacturing, Pharma, Cannabis, Food, etc)
• Strong hands-on month-end experience
• People Management (2+ years) and currently in a Manager level role
• JDE Software experience is an asset
• US GAAP knowledge is an asset

Salary Range

$100,000 - $115,000/year
