Our client is a leading global commodity trading and export organization. They are looking for a Financial Controller who will be responsible for leading the accounting and finance function

• Ownership of accounting records for one operating company along with three holding companies
• Responsible for the Balance Sheet account reconciliations
• Engage in various financial reports to the President of the company and other stakeholders
• Produce monthly consolidated P&L and Balance Sheet analysis for stakeholders
• Provide weekly inventory report and reconciliation
• Prepare payroll and issue withholding tax (CPP,EI) to CRA
• Issue T4s and T5s including the preparation of the EHT calculation
• Working with external auditors for preparing working papers and audited financial statements
• Perform bank reconciliation for 4 different currencies and  analyze cash position on a regularly basis including exposure to FX.
• Prepare T5 return for the affiliated holding companies
• Manage Ad-hoc projects as necessary

• CPA at the Accounting Manager or Controller level
• Full cycle accounting, financial statement preparation, and payroll experience
• 5-8 years of progressive experience, currently at the Manager level

Salary Range
$120,000 - $135,000/year
