About the Opportunity

• Provide support with day-to-day accounting and reporting
• Provide support to payroll team.
• Monthly financial statement preparation.
• Budgeting and variance analysis.
• Responsible for updating and maintaining the job costing system.
• Monitoring & assessing internal controls on an ongoing basis.
• Government Remittances: WSIB, EHT, GST, Corporate Taxes.
• Reconciliation of all month end balance sheet accounts.
• Performing both daily & monthly bank reconciliations.
• Analysis of monthly financial results vs budget.
• Responsible for tracking capital spending and fixed asset continuity schedule.
• Develop and prepare monthly key performance indicators.
• Responsible for providing all supporting documentation as requested by financial auditors.
• Conducting safety information and training sessions
• Conduct incident investigations and correct any substandard acts or conditions
• Other duties as assigned

About You

• CPA
• 5+ years progressive experience in an Accounting, Finance or Analyst function.   
• High computer literacy including intermediate to advanced level MS Excel skills

Salary Range
$125,000 - $130,000/year
