About the Opportunity

• Preparation of monthly financial statements
• Preparation of routine and non routine journal entries
• Prepare US GAAP and IFRS stand-alone financial statements including full note disclosures
• Analyze and report on current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, expenses and capital expenditures
• Preparation of accounting memos for newly issued standards under IFRS and US GAAP
• Supervision of Financial Reporting team
• Identify change opportunities and create plans to address changes
• Maintain complete, accurate and current financial records
• Liaise with external auditors and tax personnel
• Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis
• Other duties as assigned

About You

• CPA, CA, CMA,
• University degree in Finance or Business Administration
• Previous experience in public accounting an asset
• 5+ years of financial reporting experience in a mid to large company
• Problem-solver with sound judgment who takes initiative, accepts ownership
• Self-starter, flexible with a positive attitude
• Strong interpersonal and excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
• Strong analytical, organizational, time management and critical thinking skills
• Articulate individual who can multitask and meet tight deadlines
• Advanced excel skills

Pay Rate

$45/hour
