Financial Analyst - FP&A (Closed)

About the Opportunity

• Preparation and communication of monthly financial results to a wide variety of stake holders
• Analysis and reporting as requested to support the Senior Leadership team
• Business-as-usual support encompassing a wide variety of tasks
• Assisting with the completion of organization’s annual budgeting, and quarterly forecasting
• Financial modeling and preparation of dashboards to support departmental decision making across various stakeholders including SVPs, portfolio managers and clients
• Assistance in various ad-hoc request from internal and external clients
• Preparation and reporting of materials relating to internal cost recovery
• Identification and resolution of any data integrity or other issues on a timely basis, escalated as needed to contribute to resolution
• Working with other departments to understand deliverables, messaging, and timelines
• Actively adhering to compliance and risk management policies and other tasks as required by the company

About You

• University degree with an accounting designation (CPA, CMA, CGA, CFA)
• 2-5 years of experience in a financial capacity, preferably budget analysis
• Experience in a financial services or asset management industry
• Financial modeling and budget experience
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV accounting software, Workday Adaptive Planning, Jet Reports, or other relevant business intelligence tools
• Detail oriented and sound judgement, ensuring all work is high quality and provided with a service-oriented mindset
• Critical thinking skills to analyze problems and tackle challenges in innovative ways
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills – written and verbal
• Strong understanding of the principles of activity-based costing

Pay Rate

$37/hour
