Financial Analyst (FOG Software) (Closed)

About the Opportunity

• Assist with monthly financial accounting, including journal entries, month end analysis, to ensure timely and accurate reporting of monthly financial results
• Prepare monthly financial reports and help define reporting infrastructure for new acquisitions on a rapidly growing portfolio
• Assist with the forecasting process, including quarterly revisions to the annual budget and monthly updates
• Track and report key business indicators on a monthly basis
• Help with presentation decks for quarterly results
• Liaise with the various finance leaders to provide support as required
• Assist with the preparation of interim and year-end working papers for accounting and tax audit
• Prepare account reconciliations on monthly basis
• Prepare ad hoc financial analysis as required by management

About You

• Attained a Business/Finance degree (i.e. BBA, Comm. etc.) working towards and near completion of an accounting designation CPA
• Minimum of 2 years experience working in a Finance/Accounting role
• Advanced skills and experience in MS Office Excel
• Excellent administrative and organizational skills with ability to adjust and respond professionally to changing priorities and ad hoc issues
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to interact with all levels of management
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Experience with Great Plains accounting software an asset
• Capable of working as part of a team and independently
• Solid knowledge of accounting policies, practices and applications under IFRS

Salary

$65,000 - $75,000/year
