Financial Analyst - Facilities Contract (Closed)

About the Opportunity

• Management of the Facilities budgeting process
• Quarterly and as needed financial reviews with budget holders to identify risks and opportunities and appropriate presentation of options for management decision-making
• Preparation of financial and non-financial reports for senior management to support effective decision-making
• Support to senior management for scenario planning and funding proposals and requests
• Procurement Officer for organization helping ensure effective procurement policies, procedures and documentation to meet regulatory and funder requirements and overall procurement efficacy
• Assisting with monthly, quarterly and year end closing procedures
• Schedule routine inspection, maintenance, repair and upgrade of the building infrastructure
• Plan, organize, lead and direct Facilities services team (6 staff) to ensure highest degree of standards.
• Liaise with contractors on non-routine fixes/repairs.
• Work closely with management team to coordinate and direct construction/renovation plans for work to be undertaken by contractor and/or trade staff
• Supervise & inspect contract work in progress to ensure work remaining is on schedule and within specifications of contract
• Ensure all safety measures and requirements are met at all times
• Other related duties as assigned

About You

• Recognized accounting designation, or actively working towards a designation
• 3-5 years’ experience, with non-profit experience being viewed as an asset
• Highly Analytical, Strong Problem-Solving Ability
• Strong Computer Skills with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Microsoft Dynamic NAV
• Collaborative, Team Player
• Detail Oriented
• The successful candidate must provide an acceptable Vulnerable Sector Screening
• Fluency in French is considered an asset

Pay Rate

$35/hour
