About the Opportunity
- Under the direction of the Manager, Finance the Financial Analyst coordinates the preparation of the annual agency budget
- Assists Program Managers in budget submissions to regional governments
- Assists the Manager, Finance
- Prepares year-to-date financial reports to the Regional Governments
- Assists with preparation of monthly financial statements and reviews same
- Variance analysis of monthly general ledger and financial statements.
- Reconciles agency’s investments monthly and annual reconciliation
- Prepares annual returns
- Completes GST returns semi-annually
- Completes Statistics Canada reporting
- Other assignments as directed by the Manager, Finance
- Three to five years financial accounting
- Ability to communicate results of analysis and effectively interact with leaders at all levels of the organization
- Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, macros, lookup functions) and large ERP systems
Pay Rate
$30/hour
