About the Opportunity

Monthly reporting and reconciliations, ensuring the integrity of financial data in compliance with ASPE/GAAP and internal policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard the company’s assets.
Fixed asset administration, including depreciation and amortization.
Assist with cash management, including administration of corporate online banking, interacting with bank personnel, and responding to any information or document requests.
External reporting, including GST/HST/QST filing, Statistics Canada, inventory filing, etc.
Assist in administrating, approving, and processing travel expenses through SAP Concur.
Involved in external audits for year-end, commodity taxes, banking, government, etc.
Coordinate Blue Box recycling program and file reports.
Customer and vendor rebates and commissions.
Proactively provide recommendations to management, focusing on standardizing processes and implementing efficiencies.
Ad hoc analysis and reporting as required.
Involved in the ERP implementation.

About You

3 to 5 years of financial experience.

Driven by challenges, motivated by opportunities, and committed to delivering results.

Strong personal initiative, highly motivated and able to work well with limited supervision.

Accuracy and attention to detail.

Organized with the ability to prioritize, manage, complete multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively articulate and communicate with all levels of the organization.

Advanced MS Excel skills.

Enrolled in the CPA program.

University degree in finance or accounting.

Strong ERP knowledge, Microsoft Dynamics 365 an asset.

Salary Range
$75,000 - $85,000/year
