Financial Analyst (Closed)

About the Opportunity 

• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including the preparation of journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations 
• Perform bank and revenue reconciliations for up to 5 clinics and the review of 10 clinics 
• Perform monthly P&L analysis, and variance analysis, including supplementary reporting and ad-hoc analysis as required 
• Perform Cash Flow forecast on weekly basis 
• Prepare compensation calculations 
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements 
• Prepare weekly/monthly financial performance reports and account reconciliations 
• Prepare HST calculations and submissions 
• Prepare acquisition journal entries and post-acquisition working capital reconciliations 
• Act as key person to liaise with other departments (Sales, Marketing, Clinics, etc.) to resolve any accounting or system issues. 
• Assist with the annual external audit 

About You 

• University degree with commerce/business administration focus or equivalent in work experience is required 
• In the process of completing a CPA designation required 
• Multisite and multicurrency experience preferred 
• Expert working knowledge in Microsoft Office programs, primarily Excel, Word and PowerPoint 
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics an asset 
• Ability to interpret large amounts of financial and non-financial data and summarize it to present meaningful information to various levels of management
