About the Opportunity
Perform monthly, quarterly and annual accounting activities completed in accordance within expected time frames including the maintenance and preparation of reconciliations of bank, credit card and other general ledger accounts, including variance analysis and commentary

• Maintain and control daily sales to ensure that records and information are accurate
• Recording and processing of supplier and service provider invoices, and credit card expenses;
• Perform bank reconciliations daily
• Prepares asset (billing, prepaid), liability (payable, deferred revenue) journal entries by compiling and analyzing account information
• Maintain up-to-date, complete and systematic filing system to support book-keeping, financial records;
• Maintenance and preparation of fixed asset and intangible asset subledger
• Assist in analyzing departmental processes, including the identification of process improvements, as well as the development of solution options and recommendations
• Assist with annual audit and tax return preparation and filing
• Prepare indirect tax returns including GST/QST/HST for review
• Prepare acquisition journal entries and post closing reconciliations
• Prepare monthly intercompany and due to/from schedules
• Maintains confidentiality of client and corporate information
• Performs other duties as required

About You

• 3+ years' experience working in finance and/or accounting
• Proficient in using Excel Advanced level
• Working towards CPA or CPA designated
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Process improvement experience & knowledge
• Self-starter and able to work independently
• Able to communicate efficiently with different levels in the organization
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting preferred
• Multi-site experience preferred
• NetSuite experience preferred

Salary
$70,000 - $75,000year
