Financial Analyst

Our client is a leading natural resources company. They are looking for a Financial Analyst who will be a key member on the Corporate Finance team and will be supporting the financial statement and MD&A preparation.

• Assisting with the monthly consolidation process, including coordination of closing timelines with subsidiaries, intercompany elimination process, top-level adjustments.
• Assisting with the preparation of notes to the quarterly consolidated financial statements.
• Assisting with the preparation of the monthly and quarterly journal entries for corporate entities as needed.
• Supporting system and process implementation and improvements within the financial reporting group.
• Preparing the assigned sections of the financial statements, quarterly Board presentation and monthly management report of operations and coordinating the completion of the report.
• Performing ad-hoc analysis, reconciliations and assisting the finance team with other tasks as needed.

• CPA
• 3+ years of professional experience.
• Knowledge of advanced consolidation and report tools, such as Oracle, SAP, or Workiva, and of Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel would be considered an asset.

Salary Range
$80,000 - $95,000/year
