Financial Analyst (Closed)

About the Opportunity

• Work with financial reporting team and assist with month/year-end close process
• Testing the data from source systems to ensure that the correct data can be sourced for IFRS 17 reporting
• Assist with automating testing and process improvements to streamline processes
• Help document financial processes, operating manuals and accounting models as we IFRS17 infrastructure is built
• Support dry run testing
• Assist in troubleshooting implementation issues as assigned
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned

About You

• University degree with accounting designation or working towards a designation
• Three years’+ experience as a financial analyst
• Experience in finance processes and functions such as month end close, finance operations and financial reporting
• Experience of accounting implementation projects such as accounting standards transition, accounting software/systems and processes etc.
• Strong knowledge of Excel
• Excellent communication skills

Pay Rate

$35/hour
