They are looking for a Financial Analyst who will be responsible for supporting and streamlining the company’s corporate financial analysis process, which includes the monthly reporting analysis, the budgeting and forecasting process and other financial analysis

About the Opportunity

• Financial Analysis, including budgeting and forecasting (65%)
  • Possess financial reporting and analysis skills for business partnering
  • Insightfully analyze and interpret financial results and create scenarios
  • Able to create reports (including templates for reports)
  • Utilize financial reporting systems to enhance management reporting through developing reports in Sage 300, Oracle or other reporting tools
  • Good to have: hands on experience with Oracle and Sage 300 as much of the analysis will be generated from these systems
  • Assist in the preparation of management reporting packages and other operating reports
  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly Board reporting, ad hoc financial risk management analysis and reporting as required
  • Develop communications and training plans for adoption of new Finance processes and practices for the residences
  • Assist with training for the teams at the residences, facilitate sharing of best practices and increase financial acumen across the residences
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, document them and collaborate with the Finance team to move them forward
  • Coordinate/assist with the annual budget process for the residences while working with the Controllers and General Mangers (“GMs”)
  • Support the monthly forecasting process for the residences while working with the Controllers and GM’s including updating templates as required
• Systems Analysis (25%)
  • Possess the ability to apply basic systems understanding to various scenarios
  • Good to have: hands on experience with systems implementation (design, testing, training)
  • Able to enhance management reporting through developing reports in Sage 300, Oracle EPM Cloud and Smart View for Microsoft Office
  • Assist with data synchronization and validations
  • Assist with financial system maintenance and troubleshooting, which may include:
    • Code and account maintenance
    • User account and access maintenance
    • Workflow and approval channel maintenance
    • Investigate and troubleshoot system errors
    • Assist with data input
• Treasury and Financial Modelling (10%)
  • Work with the Treasury consultant to maintain and streamline the corporate financial model process
  • Develop an understanding of the Credit Facility covenants and reporting requirements
  • Maintain the debt and commitments schedule
  • Assist in the annual valuation process
  • Assist with refinancing activities and Credit Facility reporting requirements
  • Business Support
  • Other ad hoc Treasury, Financial projects and associated matters as required

About You

• CPA
• Strong computer skills including MS Office and highly-proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong acumen in cash flow reporting and financial analysis
• Strong mathematical skills and aptitude

Salary Range

$75,000 - $85,000/year
