About the Opportunity

To report to the Manager Financial Planning & Analysis on an ongoing basis
Assist in monthly preparation of Financial statements and variance analysis
Prepare monthly standard margin reports with variance analysis and develop/maintain weekly reports compared to Budget, Prior and Forecast
Prepare Journal entries in relation to all revenue items and rebate programs
Prepare account reconciliation for related General ledger activities
Prepare monthly sales analysis for review
Prepare sales by customer and by product group report for all divisions
Review and integrate ASC 606 reporting and ensure consistency with sales and gross margin report for automation business
Assist in the preparation of annual operating budget and analysis
Assist in preparation of Forecasts relevant to revenue by customer & product category for all divisions and comparison with budget, prior and previous forecast with variance analysis
Review AR aging for overdue amounts and initiate communication or action as necessary
To update internal control documentation, as required, including SOX documentations
To participate cooperatively as an employee within the company Performance Appraisal Process and Merit Rating System
To participate in preparation of all related reconciliations, analysis and reports required for external audit, internal audit, SOX compliance & FCPA compliance
To protect all information belonging to the company from other organizations and personnel not employed by the company and to protect sensitive data from unauthorized personnel
To actively participate in company, staff or individual meetings on an ongoing basis for the purposes of effective teamwork, enhanced communication and progressive cooperation strategies within the department as well ad other departments across the company
To conduct and general duties, specific projects and responsibilities as assigned or required by the Controller in a timely and professional manner
To adhere and follow all of the company's policies, guidelines and procedures including the company's Employee Handbook
To ensure that you follow and adhere to all internal and external compliance requirements and regulations including the company's Code of Corporate Conduct and Ethics
Some travel required on an as needed basis

About You

University Degree: Accounting Economics or Commerce
Ideally pursuing a Professional Designation CPA, CA, CGA, CMA
1-3 years of related experience; excellent analytical skills; strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
Some travel required on an as needed basis.
Self-starter, highly motivated, detailed oriented and relentless in pursuit of process improvement
Proven ability to build strong relationships while being viewed as a trusted and fair source of analytics and support
Ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external customers
Able to adapt to a constantly changing & performance driven environment
Intermediate to Advanced excel skills
Experience with SAP or other recognized ERP software; Oracle HFM or other Business Intelligence software and Microsoft Office

Salary

$70,000 - $80,000/year
