Financial Analyst (Closed)

Currently seeking a Financial Analyst to join our growing team. Reporting directly to the Director of Client Services, the Financial Analyst is responsible for preparing and reconciling various accounting items and client communications. The Financial Analyst will also provide forecasting and financial reports for client requirements. This position will be based out of our head office in Markham, Ontario

About the Opportunity
There will be the need to interact with other departments. This role will be based out of our Markham Office.

• Prepare reports and schedules for management reporting purposes
• Various accounting reconciliations and related journal entries
• Bank reconciliations
• Maintaining complex spreadsheet models
• Sales forecasting, trade spend management and profitability analysis
• Assisting finance department managers as required
• Manage business functions for an assigned portfolio of clients
• Other ad hoc analyses and accounting tasks

About You

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Quick to learn and self-motivated
• Post-secondary education in accounting
• Ability to handle changing priorities and schedules
• Must be detail oriented with strong problem solving skills
• Candidate should have or be pursuing an accounting designation
• Sage X3 ERP proficiency would be beneficial
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the Canadian CPG industry

Salary

$55,000 - $62,000/year
