Financial Analyst (Closed)

Our client, a large financial institution, is looking for a Financial Analyst for a 6 month contract.  The position is responsible for the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of accounting for investment subsidiaries, as well as supporting legal entity reporting for the General Account.

About the Opportunity

• Subsidiary Accounting, Analysis & Reporting including preparing financial statements for selected subsidiaries and preparation, analysis and presentation of monthly and ad-hoc financial reports.
• Divisional Accounting, Reporting & Controls including preparing/updating existing documentation of key processes and controls.
• Monitor period end operational accounting for complex structures involving subsidiaries and partnerships in coordination with the business unit and stakeholders.
• Perform reconciliations between the ledger and sub-ledgers/admin systems on a periodic basis.
• Perform consolidation related controls and review elimination, equity pick up and income allocation entries

About You

• CPA or in progress
• 3+ years of relevant experience involving alternative asset accounting; subsidiary accounting, reporting and consolidations; analysis and financial reporting.
• Strong MS Excel
• Strong communication skills

Pay Rate

$32/hour
