Financial Analyst (Closed)

About the Opportunity

• Assist in the closing of the next high rise condominium building
• Review and enter closing adjustments into the system
• Review closing documents and Statement of Adjustments for accuracy
• Record occupancy and final closing journal entries
• Reconciliation of project accounts
• Provide support to the month end process as requested, including but not limited to preparing journal entries, reports, schedules, and financial statements
• Prepare and coordinate monthly bank loan draw documentation for submission to the Cost Monitor
• Other duties as assigned

About You

• University or college degree in accounting, finance or business administration
• Minimum of two years’ relevant working experience in a financial analysis or accounting role
• CPA designation, or working towards a designation is preferred
• Experience in the Real estate industry is an asset
• Experience with using large ERp's is preferred
• Strong analytical, accounting and organizational skills with attention to detail
• Solid Excel skills (can design and build templates using formulas, functions, pivot tables)
• Results-oriented with ability to set realistic and attainable goals and meet those on time
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to quickly learn new software packages

Pay Rate

$37.00/hour
