Financial Accountant - Inventory (Closed)

About the Opportunity

• Perform monthly inventory reconciliations
• Monitor daily inventory reports to identify and proactively address issues
• Participate in month-end and year-end inventory closing activities
• Accurate tracking and posting of write-offs
• Provide support on inventory counts and investigation of related issues
• Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting-related deliverables in accordance with month end deadlines
• Work closely with auditors and provide schedules and evidence as required for external audit
• Other ad-hoc duties as required
• Special projects and requests as needed
• Support Internal Control Testing (NI 52-109)

About You

• University Degree/ College Diploma in Business and/or Accounting
• 3+ years’ experience in an Inventory or Operations Finance Role
• Experience in consumer-packaged goods industry, preferred
• Advanced proficiency with Excel
• Experience in Oracle Fusion would be an asset
• Possess strong attention to detail, data integrity and ability to problem solve
• Ability to work under tight deadlines, changing priorities and multi-tasking environment
• Team player and contribute to a positive work environment

Pay Rate

$35/hour
