About the Opportunity

Roll forward monthly reporting package and quarterly note disclosure package, and variance analysis template
Roll forward of financial statements, note disclosures, MD&A and news releases
Prepare consolidated variance analysis
Assists in preparing the quarterly & annual financial statement face and note disclosures including all financial statement Excel notes
Prepares quarterly CGU carrying values
Assists in preparing/formatting MD&A, quarterly results news releases, and other regulatory reporting when required
Supports the review of monthly site reporting packages/AFS
Performs monthly intercompany reconciliations and consolidation entries
Supports annual financial risk assessment/analysis and ensures ICFR over consolidation & reporting
Supports quarterly compliance checklist
Supports uploading and reconciliation of actuals for consolidated results in BPS solution
Provides audit support on an ad-hoc basis

About You

Working knowledge of technical accounting methodologies and processes
Working knowledge of IFRS/technical accounting
Working knowledge of accounting consolidation
Knowledge of accounting applications and software is preferred
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Bachelor’s degree/certificate in Accounting, Finance, Business, or other related fields
0-2 years of related experience either in industry or a public accounting firm
Mining industry experience is an asset but not mandatory
Working towards a CPA or relevant designation/certification

Salary
$60,000 - $65,000/year
