About the Opportunity

• Support the Director with financial statement preparation including regulatory reporting for non-for-profit
• Prepare monthly financial statements and detailed variance analysis
• Prepare annual budget and rolling forecasts
• Management of accounting functions including reconciliations, month end schedules and expense analysis
• Review processes and suggest ways to improve efficiency
• Responsible for annual audit and preparation of working paper files
• Assist with tax audits and the charity tax return

About You

• University Degree in Finance, Business or Accounting with a CPA designation (or near completion)
• 5+ years’ experience as a Finance Manager
• Experience in NPO is mandatory
• Experience with month-end close process including preparing financial statements
• Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong communication skills

Pay Rate

$43 - $47/hour
