Our client is one of the largest social service agencies in Canada. They are looking for a Finance Manager to be responsible for planning, directing and coordinating all accounting operational functions for the organization’s operational programs as assigned.

About the Opportunity

• Coordinate the preparation of program budgets and grant applications
• Prepare budgets and funding grant applications
• Prepare quarterly funder reports correctly and uploaded to website
• Monitor expenses & revenues and provide monthly documented reports on variances to senior management and the appropriate program staff
• Review operating statements & GL reports monthly
• Provide input into strategic management of program resources and implementation of program plans
• Implement standard reporting package for all Directors and Board submissions
• Prepare financial reports as required by funder
• Prepare month end closing journal entries
• Staff Relation and Performance Management
• Complete operational analysis, participate in projects

About You

• CPA designation
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Senior Accountant from any size public accounting firm with strong preference for those who've audited NPO clients
• Strong communication skills

Salary Range

$75,000 - $85,000/year
