Finance Manager (Closed)

About the Company

Our client is a growing media communications organization with world renowned publications and events. They are looking to hire a Finance Manager to join their team. This role will be reporting to the VP of Finance and will be responsible for managing the day to day accounting operations, including full cycle accounting, analysis and oversee payroll.

About the Opportunity

• Preparing/assisting with bank reconciliations, revenue and expense recognition entries, fixed asset accounting and balance sheet reconciliations for clean and timely month end and year end close
• Compiling, filing, reporting and accounting for payroll and payroll taxes, and administering the benefit program
• Managing the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day activities of accounts payable, including cash disbursements
• Preparing material for annual audit review
• Assisting the Director of Finance in the preparation and analysis of monthly statements, as well as the annual budget and quarterly forecast process

About You

• CPA or in progress
• Minimum 5 years in a full cycle accounting role
• Supervisory experience (does not need to be direct reports)
• Strong excel skills
• Experience with multi-currency and multi-entity accounting is a huge asset
• Payroll experience an asset
• System implementation experience an asset

Salary Range

$80,000 - $85,000/year
