Finance Analyst - 6 Month Contract (Closed)

About the Opportunity

• Customer master data creation/updates in SAP
• Prepare and book journal entries in SAP
• Prepare monthly analysis including variance reporting, supporting schedules for reporting, and account reconciliations
• Assist with external reporting as required
• Provide information to the external and internal auditors as required
• Review/update/enhance all process documentation as necessary

About You

• Post-secondary degree in business, accounting, finance, or equivalent
• Minimum of 1-3 years of financial/corporate accounting experience
• CPA, CA, CMA, CGA designation or working towards
• Experience in analysis of financial information
• Strong computer skills at the intermediate to advanced level in Excel and SAP
• Drive for results Able to meet tight deadlines
• Excellent problem-solving abilities that include the process of working through the details of a problem to reach a solution
• Listens and interprets verbal and non-verbal inputs in order to ensure thoughts and ideas are understood
• Organizes a response based on an awareness of content and intended audience
• Able to stick with the problem, do any necessary digging, continue course of action despite difficulty or opposition
• Team orientated: desire to work cooperatively with others on a team
• Adaptable to work environment and demands, able to apply knowledge in a broader work context

Pay Rate

$24/hour
