Drupal Web Developer (Closed)

About the Company

Our client is a large well-known non profit organization in Toronto, and they are looking for a Drupal Web Developer.

About the Opportunity

• This organization has a couple of large public web platforms - one sitting on Drupal 8 and the other a standalone SOAP-based server
• We are looking for a person who is very strong on Drupal 7 or 8 (complex environments, theming, coding, APIs, etc) with exposure to SOAP APIs, PHP, RDBMS, HTML
• The database is AWS Aurora, OS is Ubuntu Linux, Drupal 8 CMS is running on Apache web server.

About You

• Strong experience with large complex Drupal CMS (preferably v7/8) – coding, theming, custom parts, etc
• Experience with LAMP development – PHP, Linux, Apache, HTML, CSS, Javascript, etc
• Strong RDBMS (MySQL preferred) skills
• Understanding of SOAP APIs/web services
• Good communication skills
• Completed compsci or related degree is a plus
• Laravel framework (or similar) is a bonus
• Knowledge of web accessibility standards and best practices including Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0), ATAG (Authoring Tools Accessibility Guidelines) and the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) is a big plus
• Exposure to AWS is a bonus
• Exposure to Docker is a plus

Salary

$65,000 - $75,000/year
