About the Company

Our client is a leading global organization within the insurance industry. Their organization is the perfect blend of small company feel and large company opportunity. They are looking for a Director, Treasury and Investments responsible for day-to-day management of the treasury and investment function.

About the Opportunity

• Lead, manage and develop the treasury team (accounts payable, banking, expenses, treasury)
• Manage accounts payable including managing the efficient and effective processing of reinsurance and operational expense payments
• Ensure controls related to accounts payable are appropriately defined and followed
• Liquidity monitoring (including cash flow, fungibility and counterparty exposure monitoring)
• Managing banking relationships
• Analysis and review of reporting information
• Coordinating and liaising with parent on relevant issues
• Monitoring the collateral position
• Processing collateral transfers
• Implementation of collateral arrangements for any new treaty wins
• Maintenance of Investment manager relationships
• Production of Investment Committee materials as well as coordination of meetings
• Management of the USGAAP, BMA, IFRS and Solvency II investment reporting
• Managing the intercompany charge-back process, including determination of amounts and reconciling ledgers
• Co-ordinating the timely delivery of information from internal customers and audit requests
• Manage the onboarding process for new vendors
• Develop and maintain management information

About You

• Professional designation (i.e. CPA, CTP, etc.)
• Experience in Investment Management and understanding of financial markets (i.e. strategy/ portfolio allocation, risk management, FX, etc.)
• Large/ Global company within the financial services industry experience
• People management
• Excellent written and communications skills

Salary Range

$120,000 - $145,000/year
