Director of Financial Planning & Analysis

About the Company
Our client is a Mid Sized Manufacturing Company. They are looking for a Director, Financial Planning & Analysis reporting to the CFO, who will be responsible for developing and reporting key financial and operational metrics and provide support and analysis to Senior Management in evaluating business initiatives.

• Lead the Company’s near-term and long-term global financial planning process.
• Work with individual business units to prepare the company's consolidated annual budget and monthly/ quarterly re-forecasts.
• Analyze financial results and prepare variance analyses.
• Provide support and analysis to senior management in evaluating business initiatives.
• Assist in preparing a monthly reporting package that includes full financial statements, comprehensive Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting, operational Dashboard reporting, analysis of key business trends, actual versus budget variances and comprehensive executive level explanations of differences
• Prepare and distribute regular reports with associated commentary
• Prepare ad-hoc analysis using a variety of different data sources
• Monitor the performance and success rate of marketing campaigns
• Support the development of automated reports in Excel and Access Database
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy and consistency across different systems and databases
• Identify and/or support process improvement and cost saving initiatives
• Cooperate with all teams across the business to identify areas of improvement within existing reports

• Minimum 7+ Years Experience
• Experience with Financial Planning & Analysis (eg Budgeting/Forecasting)
• Exposure to a Large ERP System  (eg MS Dynamics, Navision and or Great Plains are an asset)
• Exposure from Relevant Industry (eg Consumer Packaged Goods Manufacturing, Distribution / Retail)
• Experience Managing a Team of direct reports
• Strong Excel Skills (eg Vlookups, Pivot Tables)

Salary Range 
$120,000 - $140,000/year
