Director of Finance - Treasury (Closed)

Our client is a retail organization. They are looking for a Director of Treasury who will be responsible for overseeing the treasury function and reporting into the VP Finance & Controller.

• Develop and execute a comprehensive treasury strategy that aligns with the Company's overall goals and objectives.
• Manage the company's cash position, including forecasting and cash flow analysis.
• Monitor the company's cash and borrowing ratios and optimize debt repayments to ensure the company has access to adequate liquidity to meet its financial obligations.
• Develop and implement foreign exchange risk management strategies to mitigate currency risk exposure.
• Manage relationships with banks, investment firms, and other financial institutions.
• Manage debt and capital markets activities, including issuance of debt and equity securities and negotiate favorable financing terms.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements.
• Manage relationships with partner groups including analysis and communication of dividends.
• Provide financial advice and support to senior management and the Board of Directors.
• Manage the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Manage a team of treasury professionals, including hiring, training, and development.

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field; MBA preferred.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively and developing talent
• Coming from Consumer Services and or Retail environment
• 7+ years’ experience

Salary Range 
$140,000 - $160,000/year
