Director of Finance - 6 Month Contract (Closed)

About the Opportunity 

• Priority will be to manage the Accounting & Finance function ensuring all reporting and analyses are accurate and efficiently produced 
• Monthly and annual financial statements 
• Monthly variance analysis and management reporting 
• Weekly Borrowing Base and bank reporting 
• Improve and accelerate all financial reporting 
• Oversight of AR and AP, including customer claims management and disputes 
• Management of daily cash flow 
• Build out Customer profitability analysis 
• Ensure all required reporting for Canada, US and International completed 
• Manage NetSuite and other financial systems 
• Work closely with Controller and Accounting team 
• Developing and producing relevant and accurate financial forecasts and projections, in addition to, providing business analytics support 
• Manage forecasting at a detailed level 
• Prepare annual monthly financial forecasts 
• Update forecasts monthly for actual results 
• Support CFO and wider team to improve data accessibility 
• Build out additional reporting as required 

About You 

• Master’s degree in business or accounting/finance and CPA designation required 
• 5+ years' experience in a financial leadership role with demonstrated strength in effectively managing a team for success 
• 10+ years progressive experience in full-cycle accounting and financial forecasting; some or all within the consumer goods industry 
• Experience with tools such as NetSuite (ERP System), PBCS (NetSuite Forecast module), Power BI (Business Analytics)   

Pay Rate 

$70/hour
