About the Opportunity

• Serve as the primary finance business partner to the company VP & GM
• Maintain a system of effective internal controls in line with standard the company practices
• Direct and coordinate financial planning and budget management functions.
• Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget.
• Oversee daily operations of the finance and accounting department.
• Manage the preparation of financial outlooks and financial forecasts.
• Prepare financial analysis for contract negotiations and product investment decisions.
• Work with department managers to develop business plans.
• Assist in establishing short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
• Design, establish, and maintain an organizational structure to effectively accomplish the department’s goals and objectives.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate department staff.
• Partner with internal Accounts Receivable shared services team to review new customers, establish credit limits, validate customer deductions and support collection activities.
• Oversee payroll functions. Approve all payroll submissions and changes.
• Manage the DB & DC Pension plans and Retirement Savings Plans, ensuring compliance with local and federal reporting requirements
• Performs duties and responsibilities as a Director and Officer of the company and all Canadian affiliated companies
• Responsible for adequacy of policies and procedures to ensure financial accuracy and adherence to Sarbanes-Oxley, and GAAP for both U.S. corporate and Canadian standards.
• Main point of contact for all internal and external financial, internal control and cycle counting audits
• Responsible for annual department budgets and Plans

About You

• CPA
• 8+ years’ experience in a mid to senior level finance or accounting position
• Working experience with a large ERP (SAP preferred)
• People management experience
• Excellent knowledge and experience with FP+A & Financial Reporting

Salary Range

$160,000 - $180,000/year
