PROGRESSIVE COMPANY LOOKING FOR DIRECTOR OF FINANCE. Our client, a leader in their industry, is seeking an experienced finance professional to join their team.
Director of Finance
About the Opportunity
- Ensure timely and accurate management reporting, including P&L, metrics and cash flow
- Perform critical review of results and plans to ensure underlying business issues are identified, discussed and actioned with executives
- Prepare and review weekly results to understand market pricing, product mix and impact on financial results
- Prepare and monitor weekly inventory, weeks of supply on hand and cash flow forecasts
- Partner with operational teams to understand forward and reverse logistics KPIs and performance of third-party vendors
- Lead system improvements to automate and streamline existing financial processes
- Interpret and ensure ongoing adherence to vendor contract terms and conditions
- Prepare and coordinate monthly forecasts, lead cost improvement initiatives and drive business results
- Develop and mentor a team of finance professionals
- Perform special projects and ad-hoc analysis as appropriate
About You

- Strong team leader with stellar interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of development
- Undergraduate degree in business or finance; MBA considered an asset
- Professional accounting designation required
- Minimum 7 years of finance related work experience
- Strong analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Business confidence, professional acumen and internal initiative
- Ability to work independently and successfully complete unstructured tasks
Salary Range
$135,000-$150,000/year
