Our client is a leader in the service industry, and they are looking to hire a Director of Information Technology.

About the Opportunity

• Role ideal for a Manager/Sr. Manager IT who will provide services and oversee all aspects under the IT umbrella and provide a proactive approach to all IT services for the client including the corporate office
• Provide strategic planning to improve and keep up with new technologies for the locations and corporate office keeping within a reasonable budget
• Lead the IT team, manage their objectives assist and support their day-to-day needs
• Will be handling the vendors, multiple sites in Ontario & Quebec, projects, applications, implementations
• They are moving from GP, D365 to MS D365 F&O

About You

• Progressive experience in hands-on IT positions – from desktop to server to network management/support, cloud technologies, project management, cybersecurity, network architecture
• Experience managing small technical teams and vendors, budgets, strategy
• Experience managing applications (ERP, CRM, BI)
• Strong communication skills, able to communicate with non-technical stakeholders
• Driver’s license, ability to travel 50+% of the time visiting their various locations as required
• Education level; Electronic Technology diploma, College or university graduate or equivalent
• Certifications: a plus would be Microsoft certified, certified in WatchGuard security system technologies
• Exposure to facilities management, supporting multiple locations
• Exposure to MS Dynamics GP and/or D365 F&O

Salary Range

$135,000/year
