- Lead various special initiatives, which encompass the creation of new funds and the launch of fresh investment strategies and products. This entails close collaboration with the investment team, as well as legal and tax advisors.
- Oversee and cultivate relationships with key service providers, which include fund administrators, banks, auditors, and tax advisors.
- Take charge of maintaining positive relationships with debt providers across all investment strategies and closely collaborate with the investment team and Finance team for all matters related to hedging, financing, and treasury optimization.
- Collaborate closely with the VP Finance and Managers across all investment strategies to ensure the accuracy of quarterly financial statements and investor reports for multiple entities. These entities include closed-end funds structured as Master-feeders, special purpose vehicles, and general partners structured as corporations.
- Work closely with the VP Finance and the Fund Accounting Managers to coordinate, manage, and oversee year-end audits and other regulatory obligations.
- Partner closely with internal stakeholders such as the Investment, Legal, and Investor Relations teams to streamline processes and enhance the utilization of technology. Spearhead initiatives aimed at improving the scalability and efficiency of the business.
- CPA or CFA designation
- 10+ years of relevant managerial, fund accounting, and administration work experience, preferably in Credit / Venture capital / private equity
- Experience in an Asset Management firm, actual exposures to audit, tax accounting, FATCA/CRS reporting, SLFI reporting, and level 3 valuation of investments are a plus.
- Experience in the Capital Market is a plus
$150,000 - $160,000/year
