They are looking for a Director, Finance and Treasury who will be responsible for financial planning and analysis, regulatory/ financial reporting, and treasury. About the Opportunity

• Apply proper accounting principles with the strong understanding of IFRS9 and IFR16
• Lead and oversee accounting function
• Prepare financial statements and liaise with external auditor and stakeholders
• Work with CFO to optimize balance sheet, NII, pricing, etc.
• Manage all the bank’s tax related matters
• Manage all direct regulatory reporting (OSFI, CDIC, etc.)
• Accurate and informative financial reporting in a timely manner to all stakeholders of the bank
• Be responsible for financial planning, forecast and analysis
• Develop and execute treasury strategy and plan in line with bank’s strategy and business plan
• Oversee and manage the treasury function (FX, Securities, MM, liquidity, etc.)
• Ensure adequate liquidity and funding for working capital needs and invest short-term excess cash
• Prepare monthly liquidity analysis and report to senior management
• Lead short and medium-term cash forecasting process and analysis
• Review monthly FTP calculation
• Develop and manage liquidity and funding plan

About You

• CPA designation; CFA or MBA or FRM is an asset
• 5+ years of experience in the banking industry
• 5+ years of people management experience
• Experience with treasury, FP&A, and financial/ regulatory reporting
• Experience in market products to be utilized (i.e. Interest rate swap, Forward) is an asset
• Tax experience is an asset

Salary Range

$120,000 - $135,000/year
