About the Opportunity

• Prepare the monthly financial package and KPI dashboards for Executives
• Create the quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements including notes
• Prepare ad hoc financial reports for the Board and ancillary reporting related to specific Financial statement disclosures
• Research new accounting standards and facilitate in the transition and implementation of new standards to meet regulatory requirements
• Manage the monthly IFRS 17 reporting to fulfill regulatory requirements
• Identify and manage new process improvements
• Provide guidance with respect to the company’s chart of accounts ensuring consistency across entities and LOBs
• Actively participate in the company’s financial reporting systems upgrades
• Manage receivable and reconciliation process for premiums with on-going, course correction as needed
• Provide capital management insight and analysis on an ongoing basis to support the expansion of the business.

About You

• CPA
• Insurance industry experience from the past or current
• Knowledge in IFRS17
• Hybrid experience coming from Industry
• Management experience for at least 1-2 years

Salary Range
$140,000-$150,000/year
