About the Opportunity
- Project manage multiple projects executing in Agile Delivery Model within web & e-commerce domain.
- Manage project costs, timeline, scope and stakeholder expectations
- Committed to the agile delivery model however flexible to inspect and adapt the development methodology needed for successful delivery of the projects with clear visibility to executive stakeholders
- Work as a change agent instead of following set of procedures
- Facilitate, Communicate and collaborate at all levels within the organization for successful delivery of the projects. This could range from solution delivery team, IT team, external vendor team, business and executive stakeholders
- Manage external vendors for successful delivery of agreed work
- Guiding multiple development teams on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values.
- Facilitate scrum ceremonies
- Support & Mentor delivery teams and help them remove their impediments
- Mentoring teams to work in an aligned yet autonomous environment
- Ensuring teams understand their roles and responsibilities within the agile environment (product owners, scrum masters, team members, business owners and stakeholders)
- Coaching and enforcing the use of Agile tools (i.e. Jira, Azure DevOps)
- Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on healing and problem-solving
- Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution
About You
- Project Management Education/Certification (MBA, PMP, or Prince-2 preferred)
- Scrum master certification (CSM, PSM, PMI-ACP or SAFe certification preferred)
- Engineering Degree Preferred (Bachelors/Masters)
- Excellent communication & negotiation skills at all levels especially with executive stakeholders.
- Experience working as a Project Manager for more than 5 years in a high paced environment delivering multiple projects at a time.
- Experience managing projects in web and e-commerce domain for 3-5 years in a digital transformation setting.
- Manufacturing background preferred
- Software development background preferred
- Experience in playing the Scrum Master role for at least two years for software development teams that were diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory
- Experience & Knowledge of application of other Agile approaches: XP, Kanban, etc.
- Awareness and experience with Agile engineering practices & techniques: User Stories, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Pair Programming
- Experience working in various Agile Scaling Framework (SAFe, LESS, Feature Teams)
Salary
$90,000 - $100,000/year
