Development Manager, FCC (Appian) (Closed)

About the Company   

Our client is a very successful company in Toronto looking to hire a Development Manager - RPA 

About the Opportunity 

• This position will be managing a team of 10 people who develop solutions on the RPA / automation product Appian and Java 

• We are looking for hands-on manager who was a developer before and got into technical team leadership 

• We need someone who has very strong experience managing development for Appian (or another similar RPA product), has good understanding of devops, integration/APIs, etc.  

• Experience with Java development is a big plus 

• This role will basically 'own' and 'drive' the Appian product within the company - how can the organization use the product more efficiently and in more areas. 

About You 

• Proven experience with hands-on development/coding of RPA solutions (preferably Appian) 

• Proven experience leading development teams as a technical lead/manager 

• Understanding/experience with Devops, Integration/APIs, RDBMS/SQL 

• Good communication skills 

• For Greater Toronto candidates this role is one day in the office, for outside-GTA candidates this role can be fully remote 

Bonus Items: 

• Experience with Java 

• Compsci or related degree 

Salary Range 

$145,000/year + 25% bonus
