About the Opportunity

  • Deliver projects under the defined IT Framework with a focus on Cybersecurity
  • Define the project’s objectives, scope, deliverables and oversee quality control throughout the project life cycle
  •  Communicate and document management procedures while ensuring that the project has the proper approved documentation
  • Ensure project is initiated with a business case and approvals
  • Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
  • Analyze project proposals to determine time frame, funding limitations and appropriate process or accomplishing projects
  • Identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones and required activities and tasks
  • Provide day to day direction to the project technical team and weekly project status to the project team including stakeholders ensuring that deliverables are delivered with quality and on schedule
  • Be diligent in ensuring that the final Project Charter and deliverables are met on time, scope and budget as agreed
  • Establish work plan and staffing for project activities, iterations or phases, and arrange for recruitment or assignment of project personnel
  • Ensure resource availability by negotiating internal and external resources
  • Implement and adhere to the project communication plan while performing regularly scheduled risk assessments and implement mitigation plans
  • Ensure that project goals are accomplished and in line with business objectives
  • Assign duties, responsibilities and scope of authority to project personnel.
  • Direct and coordinated activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within budget.
  •  Review status reports prepared by project personnel, and modify schedules or plans as required
  • Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders
  • Proactively identify and manage changes in project scope, identify potential crisis and devise contingency-plans
  • Define program success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle
  • Build, develop and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project
  • Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendation report to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements

About You

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, business administration or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Project Management Professional Certification
  • A minimum of seven 7 years direct work experience working as a project manager in a corporate IT environment in medium to large organizations under a PMO
  • Expert in demonstrating proficiency in a wide range of information IT security technologies, embedded security, and platforms
  • Possesses a high degree of political sensitivity, astuteness and the ability to effectively use the formal power structure of the organization to achieve success and clear obstacles for the program
  • Highly empathetic and able to vary styles of interaction to match the needs of a variety of temperaments and personalities
  • Excellent analytical, strategic planning and execution skills
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver against financial and resource constraints
  • Expert with a high level of analytical ability where problems are typically unusual and difficult -gather and interpret complex qualitative or quantitative data
  • Maintain a working knowledge of cybersecurity principles and elements
  • Having experience managing projects like the ones below is a plus:
  • Vulnerabilities Managements: Implementation of a process and tool to scan vulnerabilities in a computer system, software such as open ports, insecure software configurations, and susceptibility to malware infections.
  •  Real time traffic analysis: Implementation of a process and tool inspects in detail the data being sent over a computer network detecting and preventing intrusion (Deep packet inspection)
  • Privilege Access Management: Implementation of a cyber-vault tool that can automatically update passwords in regular intervals. (LastPass, CyberArk)
  • Demonstrated familiarity in leading a technical project team deploying IT infrastructure projects
  • to extend and renew IT assets: Laptop, workstations, Servers, Storage, Firewalls, Networks, LAN,
  • VLAN, WAN, Cloud Technologies and Solutions, Operational Systems
  • Demonstrated experience and ability in successfully utilizing soft skills and people skills
  • Knowledge of Technical IT concepts and architecture
  • Experience with PMI and Agile across a range of project types
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to develop and communicate the program objectives, inspire and motivate staff, and maintain alignment with the business strategy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
