Our client is a private company owned by OTPP, looking to hire a Cybersecurity Analyst to join the Security team where they will be responsible  to come in and work on a long list of things that will improve their overall security posture by completing a bunch of projects they have slated

About the Opportunity

• This role will join the Security team and will be team member number 4 (in addition to vendors).
• The Director is looking for someone to come in and work on a long list of things that will improve their overall security posture by completing a bunch of projects they have slated
• This role will be focused 70% on operations and 30% on governance/policy/compliance. The environment is Palo Alto on the network side, Proofpoint on email protection, Logrythm for Siem, Cloudstrike for endpoint protection, Okta sso, etc)
• This person will not be hands-on with networking/firewalls/etc, but they need to understand the concepts as they will be working with the infrastructure team etc
• 800 users, 34 locations, over 100 servers

About You

• Strong cybersecurity operational experience at a senior level - from infrastructure to toolsets (endpoint, email, network, siem, sso)
• Experience with compliance, governance, some policy writing
• Experience with gap assessments, new software and vendor evaluation/implementation, vulnerability assessments, incident response, network monitoring, patching, etc
• Strong foundational knowledge of frameworks (eg NIST, etc)
• Excellent English communication skills

Salary Range

$100,000-120,000/year
