About the Company

Our client is an investment management company, and they are looking to hire a Security Analyst II.

About the Opportunity

• The Security Analyst will have strong hands-on experience and knowledge in real-time information security alerting and risk mitigation, threat trends, security event triage, intrusion analysis, malware, and anomalous behavior
• As a senior analyst with great communication skills (business facing) will work on security projects and interact with database/infra/business teams
• Will have the experience of reviewing and developing design documents, Endpoint detection and response (EDR), spam filter, triaging, phishing campaigns, UI based security, threat hunting and implementing existing (multi factor authentication) MFA
• Basic understanding of automation PowerShell, any scripting language for IR (Incident response) activities, along with any cloud (Azure/AWS) experience is a big plus

About You

• 5+ years of in-depth hands-on security experience with great communication skills.
• Solid understanding of networking (TCP/IP, OSI model), operating system fundamentals (Windows, UNIX, Linux), security technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, Vulnerability Management, EDR, Forensics etc.)
• Working knowledge of password management system, vulnerability scanning, threat/vulnerability detection & remediation, risk assessment & remediation is required
• Working technical knowledge of cloud security principles
• Cyber Security diploma/degree or equivalent education

• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) – (ISC)2 an asset
• AWS Certified Security – Specialty an asset

Salary Range

$130,000/year
