About the Opportunity
As a Credit Administrator, you will work in coordination with the Director of Credit and the Credit Team to protect the business risk and secure payment while maintaining strong customer relationships. In addition, you will be responsible for maintaining a portfolio of accounts and collecting overdue monies. The successful candidate is committed to professional and personal growth and will have a high degree of self-motivation and initiative
- Maintain a portfolio of clients
- Contact clients to close payment on invoices which have aged past their due date
- Communicate with customers daily regarding their account status and assisting with any concerns
- Offer professional, effective, and efficient solutions to customer inquiries
- Work alongside the Sales Team to keep up to date on the trends and needs of the company's customer base
- Research new customer credit applications, and review credit limits, account reconciliation, dispute resolution
- Other related duties as assigned
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills to effectively build positive relationships with team members and customers
- Ability to produce accurate work as a result of attention to detail
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment – maintains a positive attitude under pressure
- Demonstrated initiative with the ability to work in a collaborative team-based environment
- Strong work ethic
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication skills; ability to convey messages in an organized, clear, and effective manner
- Ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks in a high volume, fast-paced environment
About You
- Currently enrolled in Credit Certified Professional (CCP) program or related accounting/business field
- Previous experience in reconciliation, or ability to understand reconciliation required
- Demonstrated credit experience is an asset
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- At least 3-5 years of AR and Credit experience
- Strong communication skills
- Intermediate excel
Salary
$50,000 - $60,000/year
