About the Opportunity

• Responsible for ensuring accurate and timely completion of month-end closing, including completion of journal entries and account reconciliations
• Prepare and enter routine journal entries
• Post and track cash flow disbursements on the cashflow model
• Assist Controller with year-end financials for all clients
• Assist Controller with annual budget process
• Performs various financial month-end and quarterly-end analysis and reporting as directed by the Controller
• Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures to Senior Finance manager
• Ensure compliance with GAAP principles

• B. Comm. or Bachelor in Accounting/Finance, and CPA designation, preferred
• 7 years minimum hands-on accounting experience
• In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Familiarity with financial accounting statements
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills

Pay Rate
$35/hour
